Christopher’s Story
These are excerpts from a letter written on May 25, 2022, from Mike and Judy Date, parents of ResCare Community Living client Christopher.
Our son Christopher was in care at Friendship House in National City. He was moved to Tobias House when it opened. We didn’t know what a blessing that would be. It is like he has his own little family there. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. They take wonderful care of him plus provide a family environment by having birthday parties and other holiday parties and events.
They always welcome us when we visit or call. We have not visited lately since the pandemic and our ages prevent long trips. But the nurses and staff keep us up to date and informed about all things happening with Christopher. We are well pleased and happy with Christopher’s placement.
