ResCare Community Living Indiana Locations Earn CARF Accreditation
ResCare Community Living services support the clinical and pharmacy needs of individuals with intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. Accreditation is an important part of our commitment to quality care. All of our Indiana locations have earned accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. The accreditation focuses on an organization’s ongoing commitment to quality improvement and demonstrating conformance to CARF standards in services areas and business practices.
Indiana CARF Accreditation Report Highlights:
“Persons served have indicated that the quality of care has resulted in life-changing experiences. In addition, persons served, guardians, and staff commented on the feeling of a close family of support.”
“It is evident that the team members are talented, knowledgeable, and committed to the staff and persons served. Many staff members shared that the leadership team ensures that the resources and tools needed to do their jobs are available.”
“Staff members reported that they enjoy working for ResCare and helping the persons served live their best lives. Staff members said that seeing the joy and smiles on the faces of the persons served as they reach their potential is why they get up each day and come to ResCare.”
“Staff members are recognized as being caring, compassionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable in providing person-centered services.”
Some of our Community Living locations in North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee have also attained CARF accreditation.
